Super Junior’s Leeteuk enters a boot camp

A lot of domestic and overseas fans of Super Junior’s Leeteuk swarmed over to see Leeteuk off before he entered a boot camp.

Leeteuk enters the 306 boot camp on October 30 at 2:00 p.m. Over 600 fans of Leeteuk came to the boot camp to see Leeteuk off around 11:00 a.m.

Including Korean fans, a lot of fans from Japan, Taiwan, China, and Thailand came to see Leeteuk.

They held placards that read, “Leeteuk, please protect our country,” “Take me with you,” and “I’ll wait for you forever,” and brought a big blue balloon, which symbolizes Super Junior.

Some of the fans were from the U.S., France, and Sweden.

Over 50 reporters were also there to cover Leeteuk enterting the boot camp. The police prepared to prevent accidents.

Leeteuk will receive basic military training for five weeks and do his military service for 21 months. His back pain worsened when he got into a car accident in 2007, but he got to do his military service as a full-time soldier after receiving constant hospital treatment.

On October 8, Leeteuk tweeted, “Every moment of my life is very valuable. Everything depends on how I think. If I’m sad, everything seems sad, and if I’m happy, everything seems happy. I’ll try to stay as happy as I can until I start my military service.”

Super Junior’s Leeteuk says, “Please send me lots of letters so that I don’t get lonely”

Leeteuk recently gave his thoughts on starting his army service.

On October 30, Leeteuk tweeted, “Please send me lots of letters so that I don’t get lonely! Take care! I’ll be back soon! Please wait for me just a little bit.”

On October 29, Leeteuk uploaded a picture of his bedroom on his Twitter account with the comment, “My room. I liked this room a lot, so I didn’t go back to my parents’ house often. I’m showing you my room for the first time.”

At this, Leeteuk’s fans replied: “Take care of yourself.” “I’ll wait for you and send you lots of letters.”

Leeteuk has been suffering from his back pain, which worsened after he got into a car accident in 2007. Super Junior’s Leeteuk starts his army service today

Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk and Mighty Mouth’s leader Sang Choo start their army service on October 30.

They’re both entering the 306 boot camp on October 30. Receiving basic military training, they will serve in the army for 21 months.

Leeteuk will say goodbye to reporters and his fans before entering the boot camp. To see him off, all Super Junior members will come with Leeteuk. Because Super Junior are popular all over the world, many overseas fans are expected to be there.

Sang Choo is also entering the boot camp on the same day. Shorry, another member of Mighty Mouth, will come to the boot camp to see him off.

On October 30 at around 7:00 a.m., Sang Choo tweeted, “I’ll take care of myself well! I feel so happy now. It was great to see that there are so many people who care about me and love me. I could also look back into my life, reflect on myself, and realize how valuable every moment was. I tried to spent this month well not to regret. I’m Mr. energizer Sang Choo! I Love You! Please take care of Shorry and Duck&Chichen! Sang Choo is coming back soon!”

Sang Choo also uploaded a picture of himself with Leeteuk on his Twitter account with the comment, “Leeteuk and Sang Choo yesterday. Everything has become a reality now. Let’s smile.”

They were allowed to work as public service workers at first, but they decided to serve in the army as full-time soldiers after receiving hospital treatment.

Super Junior‘s Leeteuk posed for a last photo shoot before his military enlistment.

Leeteuk participated in a photo shoot with ‘GEEK‘ for its December issue. It’s especially becoming a hot issue for containing the first shots of Leeteuk with his shaved hair.

During the photo shoot that took place on October 26th, Leeteuk brightened up the studio with his positive attitude. He playfully asked, “Can we do hair cutting a little slowly?” but once the hair styling started, he became serious and began his preparations.

Before the shoot, Leeteuk had also tweeted, “I’m shaving my hair now…and I’m thinking of this song.. a song I used to sing a lot when I was younger… ‘Shave Your Head’…… My look is made of hair… I’m ruined kkkkkkkk

Despite his worries, the staff on site complimented on his new hair style by saying, “It looks so good” and “I think you will look good doing promotions with a short hair style.

Leeteuk, also took to his Twitter to say “Goodbye“. He posted the photo below and wrote, “Making a promise for 21 months, Later..Good Bye..^^

Leeteuk will be enlisting in the army on October 30th as a serviceman on active duty. Although he was suffering from back disc problems since Super Junior’s big car accident in 2007, Leeteuk had a strong desire to serve on active duty and has been continuously receiving treatments to enlist in the military as planned.

Choi Siwon’s father receives backlash for Super Junior’s statements about his wealth on TV

On the October 28th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘Section TV Entertainment Relay‘, Choi Siwon revealed his father’s response to the topic of his family’s wealth that comes up a lot during broadcast.

Not long ago during Super Junior‘s appearance on ‘Golden Fishery-Radio Star‘, the members of the boy group had boasted about Siwon’s financial power. Member Leeteuk had gone as far as jokingly saying, “[Siwon] can even buy out MBC.

Regarding the issue Siwon stated, “When my father woke up the next morning he asked me, ‘What did you say on broadcast? This is the first time I’ve received so many text messages beginning at the brink of dawn’.

In reply to his statement the reporter asked, “Even if you can’t buy out MBC, can you buy all the flowers here?“, pointing to all of the flowers in the flower shop, in which the interview took place.

Choi Siwon responded to the question saying, “Do you think it would be just the flowers?“, causing a breakout of laughter on set.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk struggles with sasaeng fans a day before his enlistment

It seems as though Super Junior‘s Leeteuk is struggling with his sasaeng fans even until the day prior to his enlistment on October 30th.

On October 29th, the singer left two posts on his Twitter, writing, “Fans riding in sasaeng taxis continue to follow me up until the day before my enlistment… What should I do? They should’ve just left me alone for today…” and “I have nowhere to go.. ㅠㅠ I’ll be going home to move my belongings.”

Leeteuk will be enlisting on October 30th at the 306 reserve unit in Gyeonggi-do. The singer will take part in basic training for five weeks and will then serve the remaining 21 months as an active duty soldier.

Leeteuk to visit filming of ‘Star King’ in support of Kang Ho Dong’s comeback

With just one day left before his military enlistment, Super Junior‘s Leeteuk will be making a surprise visit to the filming of SBS‘ ‘Star King‘ in support of Kang Ho Dong‘s comeback.

Leeteuk’s agency shared, “He will be visiting ‘Star King’ filming today (29th) to cheer on Kang Ho Dong.” ‘Star King’ staff also revealed, “We know that he will be making a brief visit.

During the filming, Kang Ho Dong will be officially making a comeback, ending his one year retirement. It’s been reported that other stars, including Leeteuk, who are close to Kang Ho Dong will be joining to celebrate together.

Meanwhile, Leeteuk will be enlisting in the army as a serviceman on active duty on October 30th.

‘Strong Heart’ to hold auditions for Leeteuk’s successor

The producers of SBS’ Strong Heart‘ have decided to hold an audition to find a replacement for Super Junior‘s Leeteuk on the show.

Leeteuk, who is enlisting in the army on October 30th, recorded his last episode of ‘Strong Heart’ on the 25th.

Producer Park Sang Hyuk stated, “We’re trying to find Leeteuk’s successor through an audition. We are opening the audition on November 1st in order to find someone who will be able to take his spot. Footage from the audition will be revealed on an episode of ‘Strong Heart’. Many idol members have already shown interest in this opportunity.”

He continued, “We finished Leeteuk’s last recording in a lively atmosphere. Members of Super Junior, TVXQ, SHINee, and Mighty Mouth‘s Sangchu, who is also enlisting, were present to record his last episode together. The ‘Goodbye Leeteuk’ special will air on November 6th and 13th.”
